Schofield Barracks: Waste Water Treatment Plant

Construct 2-Hour Fire Rated Wall and Renovate Laboratory – Schofield Barracks Waste Water Treatment Plant, Wheler Army Airfield, Hawaii

Alexander Pacific was contracted to construct a 2-hour fire rated partition to separate electrical equipment from office space at SBWWTP.  The project consisted of installation of a fire rated door, installing fire dampers in existing HVAC ductwork, and firestopping electrical penetrations.  In addition, the former plant laboratory space was demolished and renovated to revive the space for use as a break room.  Work included demolition of old lab cabinets and equipment, capping plumbing, replacing electric circuits, patching and repairing walls, interior painting, and installation of new LVT flooring.
